As bedtime approaches, do you start to feel a sense of dread? Maybe you're hoping you'll be able to fall asleep quickly. Maybe you're praying you won't wake up in the middle of the night. Insomnia is the absolute worst, and it can really affect both your physical and mental health. Here are three acupressure points you can use before bed tonight to help calm your mind for a good night's sleep. Before you start, make sure you've completed all of your other nighttime routines, you've got your pajamas on, your screens are put away, and you're ready to go to bed.

Yintang: This point is located right in between your eyebrows. You might also think of it as your "third eye". Use your finger or a pointed gua sha stone to rub this point in a clockwise motion for 2-5 minutes. You should feel a sense of calming.

Shenting: This point is just above the middle of your hairline. You might feel a slight depression there. Massage this point for 2-5 minutes, feeling a sense of settling down.

An Mian: To locate this point, first find the tender depression behind your ear, then follow the base of your skull up and back about 1 centimeter until you feel a tender spot. Massage here, on both sides for 2-5 minutes each, feeling yourself getting present in your body, grounded, and ready for sleep.
I hope this simple routine helps you get better sleep tonight, so that you can show up fully for all of the amazing roles you play in life. If you are really struggling with sleep, I've been there, and I can help!
